This is the other version of the Screwpull Pocket Model Corkscrew, with only one difference – the handle. The Screwpull Table Model Corkscrew is an affordable, basic corkscrew with a good design to avoid pulling and breaking corks.

Screwpull Table Model Corkscrew
Quality in Disguise
This wine opener doesn’t look cool at all. On the contrary, it looks and feel flimsy. But it works beautifully getting the corks out! That’s because Screwpull designed it to need no pulling or rough handling during operation.
All you need to do is to fit this corkscrew wine opener over the bottle until the little ledge that stops it from going deeper, then turn the handle. Smooth, coated worm ensure effortless insertion and no broken bits of cork in the wine. Keep on turning the handle in one direction and the cork is out before you know it.
Good for Elderly Hands
Isn’t that easy? You just have to turn the handle around and there’s no pulling involved whatsoever. Anyone can use this Screwpull Table Model Corkscrew, even elderly people with arthritic hands. Slow and steady does it.
Lasts a Long Time, but No Plastic Corks
This is one of those super long lasting models with few parts to break, but those who break it are usually trying it on plastic or synthetic corks. The dense and sticky plastic corks grips the worm too tightly and breaks the worm.
Like I said, this Screwpull Table Model Corkscrew is similar to the pocket model, and the price is the same. Which one should you get? Other reviewers have mentioned that the pocket model is slightly more compact for storage. Other than that, I’d say just think about how you would like the handle. For the pocket model, you can turn the handle using one finger, going round and round without stopping, but this table model feels steadier with a centered lever.
If you still can’t decide, buy both of them and see which one you like. The other one can always be given away as a gift since it’s so inexpensive, and don’t feel bad about it because even if you didn’t prefer that one, doesn’t mean the other person won’t like it. Surprisingly, this plastic wine opener with a light feel to it can last really long. The Screwpull name seems to attach quality to even the simplest of its wine openers. This Screwpull Pocket Model Corkscrew is a lightweight and compact wine opener you can bring anywhere.

Screwpull Pocket Model Corkscrew
Compact and Portable
This corkscrew wine opener is compact and doesn’t take up much room in the kitchen drawer. Though named a “pocket model”, it is slightly large for the pocket. But it’s small enough to be portable in a bag.
Opens Bottles Easily, but Not Fast
The Screwpull Pocket Model Corkscrew is easier to use than waiter corkscrews; all you do is turn the handle around in one direction until the cork pops out. The worm is coated so it glides smoothly into the cork as you turn the handle, so no broken corks! Be careful not to open plastic or synthetic corks with this though, it’s not strong enough to pierce all the way through and might damage the worm.
This wine opener doesn’t need much hand strength except to hold it steady over the bottle but it doesn’t exactly open bottles fast. If you’re looking for “fast” as well as “easy”, go for the Best Rabbit Wine Opener instead.
Very Affordable, and Lasts
This corkscrew doesn’t cost a bomb; it’s one of those cheaper models, being plastic and all. Many of the reviewers at Amazon were people who bought it for the second time because the first one broke after ten years or more.
“I received this corkscrew in green about 15 years ago, and it has not given us one bit of trouble in all that time…I came on the website today, to get a new one, in anticipation of its eventual demise. I couldn’t bear the thought of opening wine without it.” - C. Meehan, reviewer at Amazon.
Buy the Screwpull Pocket Model Corkscrew if you are looking for a compact, affordable, and easy to use corkscrew. It’s great as a gift as well.

Whenever you handle something of quality you can be certain of it immediately, and with this waiters friend from Screwpull I recognized the feel of a good wine opener, this Screwpull Waiter Style Corkscrew is probably something I would use as a bench mark to what a good wine opener could be, but without using it you never know how it could perform, so I decided to give it a run.

Screwpull Waiter Style Corkscrew
The size if perfect, it may be small but when unfolded, it sizes up generously into your palm, this is something that you should take into consideration, the size of the grips plays an important role in the ability to draw the cork, as a smaller sized one will leave you with sores, so this Screwpull Waiter Style Corkscrew has the size needed to lift a great number of bottles with ease.
Being a corkscrew one can never forget the importance of the worm, without it you are left with a knife that won’t really work well as a self defense tool. The worm is coated with a layer of Teflon, this makes it slip in and out of corks with ease, you can be certain that it is properly protected from rust.
The lever is well made, it sits neatly on the sides of the bottle, being entirely sturdy you are confident when opening any bottle; this is probably the best feature of a sommelier knife, its simplicity and overall usefulness.
The foil cutter is ever present, it has a well made blade, depending on the individual the blade can be used at a number of angles, I personally don’t bother with the foil so stabbing it or tearing it off with the blade is not a problem, but the knife having its classic design is made to cater for other sommeliers as well, say those who are neat and want to run the tip neatly along the grooves of the bottle, allowing for a clean uniform slice.
After a few uses, well even from the first use I realized that this knife is great, but not amazingly great, it could be a misinterpretation of mine but I feel as if this wine key does not work as well as other screwpull wine keys, I have no problem using this, and nothing seems to be going wrong, as I said probably a misinterpretation.
This Screwpull Waiter Style Corkscrew is the best sommelier knife to get, some may find it big but I am certain everyone regards this as one of those things that are all about quality, and for its price you would be out of your mind to not want one.

It has been ages since I used a corkscrew like this, and I am simply ecstatic, a simple grip and drill out type of opener, I can use this Screwpull 500650010 Trilogy Table Corkscrew asides the Rabbit, my personal favorite, and being from Screwpull I am sure that it will be satisfying to use and handle, let’s see why I like it so much.

Screwpull 500650010 Trilogy Table Corkscrew
First before going to the performance let’s see how well it fits alongside racks of bottles in the cellar, well to say the least, this looks amazing. Screwpull 500650010 Trilogy Table Corkscrew comes with a base and not just any base, it’s a foil cutter, so you never have to worry about losing anything.
Operating this opener is nothing complex, just grip the neck of the bottle with the sides and make sure you have a good grasp on the neck to prevent slipping, then wind the worm into the cork, after it reaches the stop the cork will automatically rise to the top, this may require some strength and getting used to for beginners but this entire process takes only a few seconds if you have strong hands.
The main difference that this has from my previous Screwpull which shares similar mechanics, is that this one has a cork remover; the little red ball situated in the middle of the corkscrew, as soon as the cork reaches that point any more turns will slide the cork right off, this terminates the need to hold on to the cork with your fingers while you twist.
I am entirely pleased with the extra worm that is mounted on a longer extensible grip which is suited for those who don’t have arms capable of gripping the regular short tap like dial, I usually just use the regular short one as I don’t have much trouble twisting it, but for some of my friends and family members who are not as strong they would use the longer one which lets them draw the cork with ease.
This Screwpull 500650010 Trilogy Table Corkscrew has been very reliable and there are hardly any complaints from me, or other users, the design may need a little polishing up and the foil cutter base needs to have deeper grooves so the opener does not fall out from it, overall this is a very good and very reliable wine opener, to add an even sweeter coating on this already wonderful cake the price is amazingly low for something of such quality.

Among the hundreds of of wine opener models and designs, this Screwpull Elegance Lever Model Corkscrew is rated the best wine opener overall by Consumer Search. It is a great wine opener that will last years of frequent use, and the brand name is no doubt a known one among wine connoisseurs.

Screwpull Elegance Lever Model Corkscrew Gift Set
Solid Construction
This lever type wine opener has a steel handle and a clamp grip to hold the bottle steady while the cork is pulled, so it needs minimum hand strength to open a bottle of wine. But you’ll need to learn how to use a lever type wine opener if you’ve never used one before.
Durable
This wine opener is made to last. One reviewer has bought his second Screwpull Elegance Lever Model Corkscrew because his first one broke after ten years of use.
“I have previously purchased this product about 10 years ago. I have been pulling an average of 7 corks a week for that intire time… I bought another as I felt that after 10 years of service it is probably the most durable model available. After another 10 years, yes, I would buy another.” – Michael Simpson, at Amazon.
Good as a Gift
Such a quality would certainly shine among other wine openers that break corks, need you to tug and pull, or break after a few uses. It comes as a gift set with foil cutter, storage stand, stopper and gift box, but a couple of reviewers claimed that they didn’t get the stopper until they called the company, and it was sent to them.
One thing that can be grumbled upon is the high price. It’ll be a nice gift for a friend who drinks wine regularly, but if you are looking for a wine opener to open the occasional bottle, I suggest you get something cheaper.
The Screwpull Elegance Lever Model Corkscrew Gift Set is selling for about $95 with free shipping at Amazon, which is the best price I can find yet.
